Elizabeth Crim is a member of Duff Street UMC who is excited to be serving as Interim Director of
Children and Youth. At Duff Street, she also serves as a member of our praise band, helping lead us in
contemporary worship each week. She was born and baptized at Duff Street and raised in the United
Methodist Church her whole life, often found helping her mom (who served as Director of Christian
Education), singing in the choir, helping in the nursery, and doing church plays.
Elizabeth is a graduate of West Virginia Wesleyan College (2019), where she earned a Bachelors of
Science in Accounting and minored in Theatre, and West Virginia University (2020), where she earned a
Master’s in Accounting. Elizabeth works full time as an Assistant Professor of Accounting at West
Virginia Wesleyan College since August of 2022. She married the love of her life, Mick Crim, in July of
2023. She has always had a passion for working with children and youth and serving God. Outside of
work, her hobbies are cooking, travelling, theatre, music, spending time with family, and cuddling with
her cats.
