Karen Donnellan

My name is Karen (Pyle) Donnellan, although not always an active member of Duff Street Church, this has been my home church all my life. I was raised in a two-bedroom one bath home at 613 Stealey Ave, by Howard and Marguerite Pyle. There, along with my two sisters Carol (Taylor) and Kathy (Smith), it was a loving and happy home. I married my husband Patrick Donnellan straight out of high school, determined to begin my life in 1979. I began working in banking and while doing so, we were blessed with three children Michael, Megan, and Molly. After leaving banking I worked several office jobs from billing clerk to office manager of chiropractors’ office to accounts payable/receivables and collections in oil and gas, to hospital administrative assistant. While working hard and living harder, each of our children blessed us with one grandson a piece, Jacob, Judah, and Cole. They are of course, the apple of my eye. My husband became ill in 2013 with a rare autoimmune disease and died June 18, 2015. I have flailed since his death but after eight years of listening to K-LOVE radio and coming to church I am beginning to feel normal again. I cannot express how happy I am to be working here with people that I have loved all my life, and knowing all my faults, love me back.
